Time: 10.00am – 4.00pm

Ever dreamed of creating your very own wet felted fabric? If so, this workshop is for you!

Suitable for complete beginners or those with a little more experience, each workshop is focused on a small group (max 6); allowing for individual support in a relaxed and creative environment.

If you are new to felt-making, or looking to develop your skills by experimenting with colour, yarn and texture – come along and join the fun.  Whether you already have a creative idea in mind, or are just happy to experiment; you will have an enjoyable time creating a truly unique piece of work alongside other like-minded people.  You will be able to create a one-off piece of felted fabric(s) suitable for making into a book cover, coaster, a place mat or piece of wall art – everyone leaves with something special.

After some initial instruction on how felt is formed you will very quickly get on to the exciting bit of wet felting merino wool fibres into your own designer fabric.

Christina Kalkun from naturallytextile.co.uk will be helping you create your individual textile pieces.

Handouts will be provided for techniques covered.

Please bring an apron as you may get a little wet!
